We will compete in the showcase on May 1. There will be three
judges once again to listen to our UIL contest pieces. We do not
sight-read at this competition. After we sing, one of the judges
will give a performance review of their comments. This is a
terrific opportunity to address the concerns of our UIL judges.
- ** Change in plan. You will wear green choir polo and black
pants to the festival. Wear these to school that day. You can
change into dress code appropriate other clothes at Main
Event if you wish. - There will probably not be a concession stand at the school.
Please bring a snack of some sort to eat because we will not
get to Main Event (and the pizza) until 3:00. - You $20 Main Event included 2 slices of pizza, medium
drink, $10 game arcade card, unlimited bowling-laser tagmini-
golf. So you do not need extra money. But you can bring
some for additional food or games if you wish.
